A huge thank you to everyone who has already stepped forward to help make the Breedon Church Harvest Supper & Barn Dance on Saturday 4 October a night of food, fun, and fabulous music! Plans are well underway – the Village Hall is booked, and you might have already spotted our cheerful posters in Wilson, Tonge, and Breedon.
The Derby Barnstormers are tuning up and ready to get you dancing the calories away – but don’t worry, you can also simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the music with a well-earned glass of wine or beer.
Remember: bring your own drinks (we’ve got plenty of glasses ready), and if you able, please bring some non-perishable food items for the Ashby Food Bank, the charity we’re supporting through our Harvest Festival.
🥧 Apple Crumble Call-Out!
Right now, our most urgent mission: We need 10 delicious Apple Crumbles! If you can promise one – no creative improvisations this time, (so we can be allergy-aware), let Debbie know ASAP.
Download the recipe here. We can provide you with beautiful Bramley apples if needed, and your crumble should serve six. We’ll take care of the ice cream and custard.

🎟 Early Bird Tickets – Secure Your Seat
Our harvest table seats just 60 guests, and early bird booking guarantees a spot for those who’ve volunteered before. Tickets are:
- £12 each
- £40 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 under-16s)
📧 To book: email deb2020keith@gmail.com before 3 September. We’ll confirm within 48 hours and arrange cash payment. After this date, any remaining places will be available via breedon@flagstaff.org.uk
