Making Christmas Special

Hello everyone, after the Harvest Festival, Christmas is already on the horizon—and once again, we would appreciate help to make our celebrations a success! It would be fabulous if you could help with any of the following:

🎄 The Christmas Fair – Friday, 6 December
We’ll be attending the fair in the Parish Hall to publicise the church’s Christmas programme, and we plan to offer homemade Christmas puddings for sale. I’ve found an easy recipe, so if you’d like to have a go at making a pudding or cake, I’d love to hear from you so we can discuss the details.

📬 Christmas Flyers
We’ll be distributing our Christmas flyers to Breedon, Tonge and Wilson. This year’s message will focus on “Joy.” I’ll try to make the task easier and less time-consuming by sharing the work with the PCC—but if you can help us spread a little joy this year, please let me know!

✨ Lantern Trail & Carol Service – Saturday, 20 December (approx 4pm)
We’ll be repeating last year’s Lantern Trail and Carol Service, which was such a lovely event. As before, we’ll need help preparing the path, setting up the lights, and leading the trail. If you can offer a little of your time, it would be greatly appreciated.

I know these are big asks—but we truly can’t do Christmas without you. Every bit of help makes such a difference, and we’re so grateful for all you contribute.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about the details I can be reached on: breedon@flagstaff.org.uk

With warm wishes,
Debbie
