Fundraising

This building belongs to all of us. It holds memories, marks milestones, and continues to bring people together. For those who would like to be part of its ongoing story, there are simple ways to help and this is where we are so far.

We hope to raise funds to cover works required from the last Quinquennial Inspection amounting to around £43,000, this is to keep the church in good repair and safe for visitors.

These are the different ways that you might be able to help.

Parish Giving Scheme – Breedon Church is registered with the Parish Giving Scheme which allows you to give to this Parish securely and safely online. Please click ‘Regular Giving’ to set up a monthly, quarterly, or annual Direct Debit or ‘One-Off Gift’ to make a single gift using your Debit, Credit Card or Apple/Google Pay wallet.

Donations – If you are visiting the church and would like to donate by card you can use the electronic Sum Up machine located in the entrance porch. You can also make a cash donation in the wall-safe located by the font or within the booklet cabinet in the porch.

Leaving a Lasting Legacy – For those who feel a deep connection with Breedon Church, there is also the opportunity to support its future through a gift in your will. Leaving a legacy is a meaningful way to ensure that this special building continues to stand, serve, and bring people together for generations to come. It is a thoughtful and lasting gesture—one that reflects a shared love for preserving our heritage and community for the future.

Community Fundraising – Fundraising is at the heart of keeping Breedon Church thriving, and it is the creativity and generosity of our community that makes it all possible. From bake sales and coffee mornings to sponsored walks, runs, and community events, every idea—big or small—can make a real difference, all efforts are warmly welcomed and truly appreciated. Together, through shared energy and imagination, we can continue to care for this special place and ensure it remains a vibrant part of community life for years to come.
