I am contacting you in my role on the PCC as Volunteer Coordinator, as you have either already helped or kindly offered your support with services, events, or behind-the-scenes tasks here at Breedon Priory Church. I’ve met most of you already (which has been lovely), and I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of you properly soon.
First and foremost—thank you. Really, thank you. Your help has made such a difference, whether it has been for the Christmas Lantern Trail, carol singing, Experience Easter, our big Spring Clean, small but important repairs around the building, or simply through your generous donations. Everything you do helps keep the spirit of Breedon Church and wider community alive and thriving.

Most recently, we had a fantastic collaboration with Barrie and Vicki Nazer from NNC Breedon for the Open Gardens event which raised an amazing £1,241.97. With support from the WI providing refreshments, and some of you opening your gardens, taking part in the Yard Sales, or donating your time and energy—it was a wonderful day. We are hoping to make it a regular fixture, and I’ll keep you posted through the what’s on section on this site and our Facebook page, which are run on our behalf by Gail Newport.
Coming up next…
We are currently planning our Harvest Supper and Barn Dance, which will be held in Breedon Parish Hall on the evening of Saturday 4th October, ahead of our Harvest Festival service on Sunday 5th. We would love your help again if you are available. There’s lots to do—setting up the hall, decorating, serving food, baking apple crumble (of course!), and selling tickets to family and friends. Most importantly, we hope you will come along to enjoy an evening of great company, tasty food, and a bit of dancing.
If you’re able to help in any way—or just want to join in and need more details—please drop me an email at deb2020keith@gmail.com. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Once again, thank you for everything you do. We really couldn’t do it without you.
With best wishes,
Debbie
