The diary at Breedon Church is starting to fill up nicely and while a few details and timings are still being polished, we’d love you to save the dates for our first events for the year ahead 🎉 See our what’s on page for a fuller diary.
If any of these make you think “Ooh, I could help with that” (even just a little bit), we would be so grateful. Volunteering can be big or small, front-of-house or behind the scenes — every bit helps. Please let Debbie know if you’d like to get involved at breedon@flagstaff.org.uk.
So, here they are… our Fabulous Five:
🐣 Experience Easter
Saturday 4 April | 2:00–3:30pm
A relaxed, family-friendly afternoon at Breedon Church, exploring the Easter story together. Lovely, welcoming, and very child-friendly.
🌷 Breedon Open Gardens
Saturday 27 June | from 11:00am
A village classic! Beautiful private gardens open to visitors, plus craft stalls and refreshments at the village hall; a great community day. This event is organised by Barrie & Vicky (NNC-Breedon) but is included in the church diary as it is an important fundraiser for the church.
🕯️ Remembering Our Loved Ones
Saturday 27 June | approx. 5:00pm tbc
A short, reflective service in Breedon Church for anyone who has experienced loss — a gentle time to remember loved ones together.
⚔️ Breedon Wakes
Saturday 5 September | 11;00am to 4pm (tbc)
The hill goes medieval! A full 15th-century encampment with plenty to see and do. Fun for all ages — and dogs are very welcome (on leads).
🍁 Harvest Supper & Barn Dance
Saturday 3 October | from 6:30pm
An evening of good food, good company, and energetic dancing at Breedon Parish Hall. Bring your own drinks — and your best barn-dancing moves!
Thanks so much for being such a brilliant group of supporters. We really couldn’t do this without you — and we’re already looking forward to a fantastic year ahead.
See you soon,
The Breedon Church Team 🌼
